A very special release for us each year. From the hills we visited together with Esben and Paw from La Cabra in March '22, a trip that has again reinforced our approach to specialty coffee.

Being with Rigoberto and his family in the lush mountains of Valle de Cauca, carrying camera equipment on the steep slopes while the farming team passes by with bags heavily loaded with the ripest cherries, makes you once again realize what incredibly hard work goes into every single cup. Sorting each bag by hand before continuing to fermentation, separation, and drying involves so much labor and many hands—it's incredible!

Of course, we have all seen those pictures and videos, but actually standing in the hills, snacking some cherries, and realizing how far it is from that hill to your brew in Berlin is unforgettable.
