A very beautiful last natural processed Ethiopian for this season.
Full of tropical notes with clarity and enhanced sweetness, this is a very good finish of a strong year in Ethiopia. As rare case this coffee has been produced by 'only' two hand full of small farmers in the Sidama region. While usually several hundred farmers are behind coffees that we drink from the region. Less farmers means a more even cup, that allows higher quality and clarity in its profile as well as more precision in roasting and brewing such. The Duwancho washing station where they collect sort and process the coffee is run by Testi Coffee, a family owned company founded by Faysel Yonis. Fairly new built (in 2021) this station is 'premium facility' where Testi is pushing everything to the highest standards. A hard work that you can clearly taste in this cup. Enjoy those last 250g until we are back with fresh Ethiopian coffees next summer.
