Woah! This incredibly clean and vibrant Pink Bourbon is produced by the 18 years young Karen Burbano, in the mountains of Colombia. With her the 4th generation of coffee producers is inheritating years of experience on Finca el Placer. Taught by her father Jose, Karen has learned how to plant, grow, pick, ferment and dry specialty grade coffees. After her graduation of studying administration in 2022 her father has given her a small piece of land attached to the existing farm, where she would implement what has been toughed. On such land, Karen started growing her own tiny plot of 3000 Pink Bourbon trees. She would pick her cherries every 15 days when fully ripened and then place them overnight for fermentation before depulping them in the next morning. Once all cherries have been processed they are laid out for drying for about 18-20 days depending on the weather.
With this coffee you can dive into the world of a super young and dedicated farmer who brought his pure excitement into that very cup infront of you. And man, that cup is ace!!
